That's great that you like The Phantom, I think they're fantastic. When one thinks of electronica and folk it's usually twee folktronica, or dark electronica is usually overly dramatic and bad goth. But Phantom I think are quite unique, to me they have the stately atmosphere of dusty, mouldy old folk tales of dark deeds told by croaky ghosts, all with a dense, foggy electronic backing.
The new album "Skull exposed to March rain" is so fucking good, I think it's even better, but I don't know why they've not released it yet, I think they're still tweaking it. But when they do I'll make a big fuss.

This track makes me feel very, very uneasy. Feels like a bad acid trip to me.

I can only say sorry, and maybe suggest a mild sedative and listen to some light classical or even one of those mood cds of waves and the Amazon forest.

Just heard this from your myspace page. It's really, really good stuff. I wouldn't actually mind it being twice as long, but ignore me and my silly bombastic ideas. :-)

Cheers ears, and let me remind everyone that those self same ears that relayed the message "It's really, really
good stuff" to his brain on hearing ¡Oye Ape!, are the ears of signed artist Robot Log-on whose album "Cognessence" is available to buy on Slowfoot Record's appallingly designed website, whereas his own MySpace page is a much more satisfying experience and even has links to reviews in those titans of music journalism such The Wire, Q, DJ Mag and, erm, Flavorpill.net.
The ears of an internationally, artistically recognised man-child, potting shed dwelling wunderkind.

oyvinto's ears are just lovely and if he had an album for sale on a poorly designed website I'd have no hesitation in recommending it here.
