I am sorry but dave and zombiekev will have to vote again if
they want their votes to count.

read the first post of this thread to see why.

THE COMPETITION statements

make your votes....but HOW?
ok its very simple... If you want to vote you will have to
make a list of at least 10 ARTISTS so that the first gets
the highest score (15) and the 10th gets 5 points.
I think making a list of 10 artists is not very hard....and

if you have the list of 60 to take a look at, its even
easier.

THE MINIMUM number of artists in your list will be 10
(first= 15 points;; tenth= 5 points)

THE MAXIMUM number of artists in your list will be 15
(first= 15 points;; fiveteenth= 1 point)

this way people that are a bit lazy wont have to make more
than 10 elections....but for those who want to include most

of their preferences and dont want to leave any of their
artists out, they can vote for 15 artists, which is I think

a good amount to describe your music tastes.

WHAT IS THIS FOR??

well if everybody makes a list of 10 or 15 artists (IN ORDER

OF PREFERENCE) Then I will be counting the number of points

that every artist is getting, after a few days, when we have

quite a lot amount of votes (I would like more than 100
members voting) we will see which is the CHAMPION and our
other favourites.

ITS NORMAL that having 60 artists many of them will not even

get points... well maybe 60 is too much but I didnt want
anyone to feel that their favourite IDM ARTIST wasnt there.

THIS IS JUST FOR FUN
IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT VOTE, BUT PLEASE TRY NOT TO SPAM IN

THIS TOPIC AS IT WILL MAKE IT VERY HARD FOR ME TO COUNT THE

VOTES

ONCE YOU HAVE VOTED
PLEASSSSSEEEE DONT CHANGE YOUR VOTE COS I CAN GO CRAZY

PLEASE JUST MAKE A LIST OF ARTISTS FROM THE LIST, WE HAVE
SPENT A DAY TO CHOOSE THE 60 ARTIST, SO I HOPE YOU
UNDERSTAND THE DIFFICULTY OF COMING UP TO EVERYONE´S
EXPECTATIONS

*VOTES WITH LESS THAN TEN ARTISTS IN THE LIST WONT COUNT

*VOTES WITH MORE THAN 15 ARTISTS INTHE LIST WONT COUNT
EITHER

*VOTES WITH ARTISTS THAT ARENT IN THE LIST WONT COUNT
EITHER

Just a quick note: a 10 artist selection would give points
of 15 - 6 not 15 -5.

01 - 15
02 - 14
03 - 13
04 - 12
05 - 11
06 - 10
07 - 9
08 - 8

shortcircuit:

there are 150 members that have posted over 50 times in this
board, so this means that over 150 of us are more or less
regular on the board... so I would like that all of them had
the oportunity to vote (any can vote , its not a matter of
status, i just said that to remark my theory about how many
must want to vote)

I am sure that many wont vote just because they are lazy or
because they find this whole competition a big crap... but I
am sure it will be easy to reach about 75 votes if we give
it enough time

remember this is a league, so it must last more than a few
days

Squarepusher second in the champion's league now is third
and he could be overtaken by BoC... Tom Jenkinson what's
happening to you? Where is the champion of last competition?
Boards of Canada hasn't compromises and want to overtake
Squarepusher. This is an interesting league, good job,
Nacmat.

I totally agree... this is a long league, so we need much
more time for a definitive verdict.

Points: 31271 Status: Lurker | Followup to WooferAttack: #00126992

I am glad you like it...its just another way of competition,
just different...and it gives us some other points of view

one thing i like is that now I can see what people think of
many artists i didnt even know.

oops, I think you misunderstood me. I don't want to stop
now. I just wanted to know how much votes we're going to
count.
I agree with you that many members are a bit lazy to vote or
don't like this competition.

So ... anyone out there: VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE IDM
ARTISTS
(or should I say GEM artists ;)

But you made a huge mistake. How could you miss out Global

the best albums of the Nineties. You must have heard it. If
you haven't, go and buy it now, as well as their Theory of
