The pen knife thing was years and years back, don't quote me, but I think it was 17th/18th Century. I read about it in a history book, so it's probably true. |

Wouldn't an executioner in the 17th/18th century have a weapon on hand more substantial than a pen knife? Like white hot tongs or a sword of some sort? |
