Well, I knew what was going on and I guess I knew it was drugs doing it.

I seemed very real at the time. I guess what I meant to say was that as I was watching/feeling all this going on, I had no reason to think that it shouldn't be happening.

well some of them could happen, but not in that way, not in the same unexpected context...the constantly changing city architecture...somewhere deep you know that it's not happenning..but..in a year i was very high on weed and then came bombsirens and earthquake which did shake the city, and few months when i was sooo high on lsd in the dark tripping about those faces coming from the walls...then there was a nato bomb which was closest to my home....i thought at the moment that it's just a video game.
it's not about entering another reality, it's more like recontextualized reality, within some really strange manner....

God, Gwely's story brought back some bad memories. Just that terror for no reason at all. Its amazing the wierd things that bring back memories.
Simple geometric things and patterns bring flashbacks for me. I get a jolt of fear when I try to fit something into a hole not big enough for it (I have this recurring hallucination where I keep trying to fit in a hole the size of a dime) or if I will start thinking about a tune or something and get stuck on a loop, not knowing how to get out.

Regarding the topic, though, for me, I knew the hallucinations weren't real, though the FEAR that went with them was real.

Yes. They usually happen in the middle of the night or after a nap when I have recently taken ibuprofen. They are much more mild now, partially because I am outgrowing it and partially because I better manage when I take painkillers.

I still get them in the middle of the night, but all they really do is keep me awake, I'm not disruptive or anything.

the closest thing to "loosing reality" was in a white hen on shrooms. a girl me and my friends were with was looking green, which i later figured out had to do with the flourescent lights. i asked her if she was wearing make up and if it was supposed to look like that.

but when i was staring at the side walk and watching ancient mexican art pulsate in and out i knew it was the mushrooms.

my friend ben (ctrlaltdel) has a recording of me leaving him like 13 messages on shrooms. i'll try to find it. i mean if its important. i like it cause you can hear me progress and decline through the night

i've only done mushrooms one time, and most of it was a pretty positive experience. i didn't even eat that much, because it was my first time doing them, so all i really saw was sort of shifts in reality or shifts in the way i looked at things. although i do remember listening to "shark infested" by real life, this was back in my 'chillout' days, closing my eyes, and seeing a giant luminous tree towering above me, radiating blue light, while things that looked like fireflies and translucent blue dance dance revolution-style arrows streamed into the sky around its trunk. it was stunning. that image alone was worth the whole trip.

ibuprofen is for women with menstrual pains and really really hard on the stomach.. you should look for a different painkiller unless your pain is related to swollen muscles.

it's also very much less addictive than other things (you don't feel you need it every day unless you're a weak minded fuck up) and with a normal use not particularly harmful.
