Heathen, the only good sodd is the one you buy frozen, in
buckets

I'm glad you like it, DirtyPriest, that took me nearly an
hour to type... but I'd like to reiterate... it's a lot
easier than it loox. If you really want to impress your girl
then a test run is always the best way, though... it's the
steak that's expensive so you can forget about that (that's
the easy part) and just do the rest.

how do you heat up 5 kg of frozen sodd? i'll have to re-heat
it again, and again and again?.

You're "The Hunter", aren't you? Avatar wise, that is...

But I tend to eat the way you've posted myself, I can't
afford to make elaborate meals at the moment... plus I don't
have a lovely lady to cook for, just my dad who doesn't
appreciate anything unless it's spicy or contains meat!

Haha....

The thing is, i'm meeting her this wednesday, and she's
actually visiting me to show me how to make this indian
dish.... I've known her for many years, and we have been
together for a night once, but things got weird
afterwards.... We have seen a lot of stuff together
(travelled, loads of concerts), she's even met my family.
I'm ranting here, half drunk. Ill sleep on this.

Anyway, if its for this girl or not, ill promise you ill
give that recipe a shot. Maybe even take pictures to prove
that i actually did it!

Lots of thanks from here

Regarding the recipe, something I forget is you should stir
the relish and the medley occasionally.

If she shows you how to make her Indian dish, I've love for
you to give me the recipe. I made samosas months ago, and I
have a big kitchen, but I needed tons of room - I should
have cleaned off all the work surfaces first - it took over
four fucking hours! Worth it, though.

I really hope things go alright for you, DP. I can tell
you're into the girl so it'd be a shame if things go pear
shaped, but it's happened to me a few times. Let me know how
you get on.

I never buy it myself. I suppose you could divide the frozen
block using a big enough saw, though

oh no, of course, i forgot. i'm british (i.e. english - they
are the same) and therefore i will eat fish and chips before
hpooing on a big red bus and going from my big house in
london somewhere (you see, london is the only place in
britain/england) and go and see the queen, 5 minutes down
the road, and sip earl grey tea with her in that posh way.

i love stereotypes!

curry risotto!

2-3 portions

400g minced meat
3 dl rice
6 dl water
½ onion
loads of curry (so the water becomes quite yellow)
salt
3 table spoons of olive oil

start by frying the onion in a pot. when yellow, add the
meat.
when the meat is almost cooked, add rice + water.
let it boil up, then put the temp to 1 (on a 1-6 scale oven,
where 6 i hottest). let simmer for 15-20 min, then serve
with some Heinz Chili Sauce. drink some milk.

enjoy!

I try to eat well, and I have to for my ailing stomach, but
I just don't have much of an appetite. It's hard. So I don't
eat a lot of GREAT food... but I've cut all BAD food out of
my diet, which must count for something.

I augment my justprettyood diet with Boost/Ensure
''meal-in-a-bottle'' drinks. Those things are fucking great
and they work.

It takes skill to make a good Yorkshire pud... never tried
it myself, but my grandad was fantastic at it.

If you think that's hard to eat, try eating black pudding.
Reconstituted dried pig's blood, yum.

Not bad if sliced thin with a full English breakfast to help
it go down, though.
