Aw, kitty! :( That's really bad, why the heck did it run away? Cats are so fickle. not loyal like dogs. If a cat's owner died, the cat would just leave to find food from another ower. If a dog died it would stay with it's owner. We found a kitten outside once and kept it cos we couldn't find an owner. it was just dumped practically outside our door. Quite weird. Anyway, we kept it for a few months. My mum called it Miffy and I called it Quacky. Our other cat didn't like it, but never really attacked it or anything. After a few months we let it out, cos we thought it was about time for that. But it got ran over really soon after. :( My mum was really, really sad about it. Perhaps she felt responsible cos we let it outside before it understood that cars could be fatal. Then one of the kids my mum looked after asked where Quacky/Miffy was and my mum was really evasive about it. It was quite sad and awkward. The point is I can feel you pain a little, cos I have been through a similar thing. If I'm honest, it would be far worse if something happened to my current cat though, cos we have had her for so much longer. I think she is about 13 now. Had her since I was 8, I think. As far as I know mine is still okay, but presently I am a 5.5 hour train ride away from it. It's in the Midlands and I am in right at the bottom, in the South. :( Have you thought about getting a new cat? |
