It's scary as hell, that's for sure. You don't really get to
re-do these things. You have a lot of freedom in life, a lot
of avenues to go down, and yet that's stressful because you
still only get to exercise so much freedom. I'm torn between
Swears' sentiments and the ''do what you WANT, not what
you're doing'' camp... of course, my fear about this very
subject has debilitated me and I haven't been to school in a
few years because of it. I've fucked up and I'm too sick to
go to school until at least Sept. 2007. Don't waste time.

If you're looking good for steady money now, not bowing out
might be a good move... but if I understand, this is your
first year of uni? I say drop it now before it's too late.

Either move can be really good. This probably isn't a bad
problem to have. It really isn't. You can always change your
occupation later if you play it safe. And if you follow your
heart, mAgIc AnD lOlIpOpS!

chances are you'll end up in a job connected to your field
of study, though. and you'll have to spend a few years
studying something you're not really interested in.

but, sure, if he can get there himself, that would be great.
