I like it, "twirl" is the best so far.

it is just ok, but not great. you could take the few good
tracks from this, the few good tracks from ... whatever
that other fucking thing was called... and you'd have a
real nice ep.

Swindon!
Awesome album, all the haters just hate it because they cant
come to terms with how much they love it.

I hear that argument over and over again

as if all the tracks of an afx album were all perfect

you don't even have to compare the two.... take an album
like doll doll doll and put it up against this or meathole.
doll is a solid album, cavalcade is unfortunately not.

I would say the exact opposite. I find nothing interesting
on DDD. It sounds dry and flat and the tracks are very
stereotypical. There are some genuinly good tracks on
Cavalcade and the production is excellent.

i downloaded chocolate wheelchair, rossz and huge chrome
cylindar box and have been listening to them on random.
they are not really doing it for me. i find it a bit
obnoxious. i'm also not really a fan of amen break stuff.
except for some squarepusher who i think does it better.

oh well, thanks for the recommendations.

Cavalcade got some of the most emotionless music I ever
heard in my entire life :/ VS on auto-pilot mode :(

what kind of argument is that?

because Aphex Twin can't pull it off Venetian Snares
shouldn't have to either?

track one on hospitality has some intense panning, judging
from the sample. listen to the part where the drums come in
normally, and then listen with just one channel (left or
right, doesnt matter).
how the ...
