I do like Daft Punk.

Hunt down that Coachella-set and your eyes will be opened...

They're still good, Human After All was a little bit of a
let down but they made up for it with the Coachella set.
IMO the anime's good.
Discovery is their best album.

Human After All was shit. Everything before that was
awesome.

And Bangalters solo stuff on Roule is also fantastic.

I liked Homework, still love Discovery, but Human After All
is pretty bad. I also liked that remix album they had out,
and the DVD movie for the Discovery album is quite good as
well. So overall I liked most of their stuff, but I just
hope they rebound quite well with their next album!

hahaha, i was kinda obsessed when i made those posts...
still am tho :P

check out the human after all remixes, some are quite top
notch (mainly the sebAstian, justice, and soulwax remixes,
altho the soulwax mix of robot rock takes about 1.5 minutes
to really kick into gear. i just skip the intro when im
mixing it)

btw people should check out the stuff ed banger records has
put out in the past year or so, namely justice rocking the
face off of everything else on earth.

Their first single was not Da Funk, it was The New Wave.

i never really buy any daft punk stuff, or listen to it at
home, but when i see a video on tv or hear it out, i get
excited... kinda love it but not enough to care? that
middleground between blocking out bad music and loving good
music...

my thoughts on this thread.

homework = awesome
discovery = great
human after all = wank
soulwax - leave the story untold = brilliant
soulwax - much against everyones advice = superb
soulwax - any minute now = toss
soulwax - nite versions = absolute shit

I thoroughly hate everything they've done because their
music is gay
