No one has mentioned theatres yet? Why is popcorn the snack
of choice? You're watching a movie, and all you can hear is
hands scuffling into paper bags, grabbing some squeaky and
crunchy popcorn, then jamming it into their mouth and loudly
chewing, right.. behind.. you.. Oh wait, they've reached the
end of their beverage, slurp, slurp, SLURP.

And that's when I killed him your honour.

This drives me up the wall as well. How hard is it to keep
your mouth shut while eating. I mean sure there will be
sounds here and there but some people go over board.

Its not how my Dad eats it's what he eats that drives me
crazy. He's a diabetic and he'll eat a huge plate of pasta
and then go to sleep. He never walks. He hates physical
excersize. Oh and did I mention he eats too much?

I think he has a death wish. Very frustrating to watch.

slap him a couple of times in the face to snap him out of
it.

for the record, i think i eat and drink noisily even though
i do both with my mouth closed. i get especially self
conscious when i'm chewing crisps in quiet, public places
(kind of like the cinema scenario). i hear it as clear as
daylight. can the other people? are they as annoyed by the
sound as i am of myself making that sound? an unfortunate
dilemma.

What is not, is surely the nothing. Should philosophy, then,
as absolute science, have the nothing as its theme?

are you suggesting then that phobie should close down
xltronic, we should stop discussing the music, because most
people can't afford it?
