Movie sounds.

Jango fetts sonic bombs in attac of the clones , awesome!

The Balrog in fellowship of the ring.
They made his sounds from draging big rocks against each
other and then layering and pitching it .
Like when he first reveals himself and opens his mouth , you
excpect this silly monster scream ala jurrasic park or
something but it is just this powerful sound of rock and
fire , masterful!!Perfect!! Genious!!

I like the sounds in anime movies , they all seem to have
the same sound enginers or something . Like the sounds of
swords is this laser type PIOIIIIIING sound eventhough its
just a good ol samurai sword. And when someone gets hit or
shot in the face its not enough with the gory visuals but
they ad this meaty fleashy sounds.

The big gun fight in Heat is a classic.

The aliens in Stargate sounded cool and the alien god type
guy had a cool vader type voice that didn't fit his fysical
aperance wich made him creapy. Crapy movie as a whole
though.

The Godfather.
WHen michael is about to whack the guys in the restaurant
you hear this noice of a train or something building up and
getting louder reflecting his emotional state and when he
finally shoots them it gets silent. I remember my heart
started beating so fast when i first saw it , its such a
great use of sound.

You like the Jango fett Bomb sound too!?!?!? I rewound that
like 400 fucking times!! I want to make a cheap hard house
song with that noise as the baseline.

Yeah its awesome! It sounds like a giant has slammed a 5 ton
electric guitar against a mountain or something.

Well, I like the sound of typing. I'm hearing it now and
I've always been a fan. Doors opening and closing is also
awesome.

I quite like the sound of typing, but but only if it's quite
fast.

-the sounds of cars passing over a bridge, heard from under
the bridge
-the drone that places in nature make when a place is
silent
-the sound of a singer when he hits the high note that he
feels through all his body (ie: Marvin Gaye, Brian Wilson,
etc.)
-vinyl crackle
-grimy jan jelinek melody lines
-a blunted hip hop sample
-aphex ambient washes

A very old piano
Ride cymbals
Rain, of course
Waves crashing
As for an aphex track, that mechanical sound in green calx
The pad sounds and voices in Autechre - Autriche
Binaural beats check this out, amazing stuff
The static in my nervous system (tense your neck muscles,
you'll hear it)

Cause like you i used to wake up to it every morning when i
lived with my parents. They used to sit on the phone line
that went in to the house. Im fine with the regular
cuttering they make when they are in numbers but they make
this annoying OOOUUU UUUUUU OOOOOOO UUUUOOOO sound repetedly
four hours sometimes . It is is just such a stupid godamn
sound.

Well, when they're not doing anything, its just the same
OOOUUU, one pitch again and again...but when somethings
happening, its OOOUUU UUU? OOOO O O O U. OOOOUU OU OU!
Great!
