I'm one of those who thinks SAW has never been beaten by
AFX.........

As for Ae, I like both ends of the spectum, Incunabula/
Amber to Draft 7.30 /Untilted, and everything in
between.......

The Black Dog does melodies as good as the best of Aphex
Twin and beats as varied and funky as anyone.........
certainly his older stuff (Bytes, Spanners etc.) The
change-ups and flow are amazing! This stuff is getting on a
bit now, so don't expect the sonic manipulation you hear
about the place today.... but in terms of the complete
package, TBD is hard to beat.

i'm currently listening to stuff like Casino Vs Japan, Porn
Sword Tobacco, Susumu Yokota, Nick Drake, The Hafler
Trio...... really easy listening material and unlike much of
what has been mentioned in this thread...... but Ae and
(some) AFX get "air-play" aswell, along with Bola, Freeform,
Team Doyobi........

Yes... It makes it PAINFULLY DIFFICULT, in fact, I think its
actually considered cruel and unusual punishment to force
someone to download on a 56k in some countries.

I agree... this is a forum, so you will get lots of
opinions, but

one has to learn to read those opinions and reviews, learn
from them, but still be ready to decide by oneself..., so
dont follow strictly what people say, just use the info but
not be slave of it

you can also pay for those opinions
