fucking fry chef. i make about $6.80/hr and i can only work
weekends right now (i'm a full time student), so i'm trying
to get out of it.

i just went and jammed with my new band - it's sounding good
but the recording got barely any drums, mostly vocals and
bass. meh. at least we got the lyrics and beats down. we
also got central themes which we will use the improvise as
we play, it will act as a root.

and yes, it is obviously a jazz band. but we sound a lot
like talking heads, according to our bassist.

this album is good. people should at least hear the sample
from it.

I have my copy and yes indeed it's good, it's only like £2
too. Yo-jim-bo and Evil lies hidden in the forest are my
faves so far. I've also got the Famicom Connection CD to
check out after this.

Famicom Connection; Fucking excellent album. Drillcore w/ 8
bit melodies, last third or so breaks down into some nice
synths, builds back up into more epic drill n bass. Love it,
shame people don't seem interested. The Tajfel remix, oh
man. I only wish the tracks where a bit longer for when I DJ
this shizzle, but then if I was a better DJ I'd have nothing
to worry about.

I have to get back to my mind maps now.

i listened to the free sample. sounded like bad karaoke with
tinny production and fart noises, recorded on an old
talkboy.

but i guess that's what 'nerdcore' is all about.

I look forward to hearing your Twatcore and not buying any
of it. ;>

The two CD's worth I listened to had plenny going for them.

thanks for the support, as always.

he is entitled to his opinion though. i might put another
track up just for a bit more depth into what the album
sounds like.

i admit i'm a twit in that post, but that's honestly what it
sounded like to me. it really does sound like what
'nerdcore' brings to mind.

yeah, the vocals are not excellent, but i was going for a
sort of they-might-be-giants style voice. and yes, the
vocoder is a bit rough but i like that sound. :D

thanks for listening, anyways.
