nice everyone
but what about this: i can almost envision some day when the gov't realizes the cash that could be made off of legalizing weed, and works with say a marlboro-like company to produce it in a controlled manner and profit just like the $ made from cigs and alcohol
when you think about the prohibition in this country when alcohol was illegal; i guess anything's possible when money's at the source

"gov't realizes the cash that could be made off of legalizing
weed"
the gov't makes a lot of money off the illegalization of weed.

Of course, everyone has a personal choice of what they don't want to take/drink/smoke, and what they do.
It's nice to see people aren't arguing about it because that's the point when people stop listening.
But i find the term "anti-drugs" very confusing, this term is meaningless.
You need to be more specific about what you mean. You can't group all drugs (including tea, coffee, alcohol, aspirin, chocolate etc) together and still make a valid point.
The term DRUGS is outdated and misleading. All substances are different, some have much stronger or long lasting effects than others. Some are very addictive, some not at all.
So be anti- whatever you like, but be specific, or your argument is meaningless.
By the way, it's interesting that all the people who are "anti-drugs" appear to have never tried them, whereas those who have tried them are quite happy to let others make up thier minds.
Oh, and the recent proposed relaxations in the law in the UK for cannabis were actually the result of pressure from the police force who are fed up with wasting time booking people for small personal use when they could be catching someone who really is a threat to society.
Sorry for rambling...

the only reason cannabis was outlawed in america was because the popularity of hemp as a cheap and effective alternative to woodpulp was having a disastrous effect on the massive rockefeller forests - so they started using their own media to demonise the weed and got it banned...
...anyone who can seriously say that alcohol is ok whilst hashish isn't needs to re-evaluate their thought processes... alcohol causes a nation to become macho chauvanist pigs - look at all these british bitches who drink heaps - they have lost their sensuality and femininity, and sleeping around don't make 'em either... there is a serious inbalance...

I can't believe this thread is still on the first page of topics...
The pic is still sweet though.
