oh my that sounds like a large collection..i hope i have
that much in 10 years or so..

i don't know..half of the stuff on plylist is real
interesting for me, but perhaps if you told me what kind of
thing are you looking for i'd be easier to suggest
something..there's a lot of +20 years old stuff there.
as for radio shows issue - that is just the music they'll
play on sunday, during regular program, so you can always
tune in :)

you think some of the analords and pusher's ultravisitor
would fit among first 17 songs, and where? perhaps some
ultradyne? maybe all 3..ahh

maybe you should treat it more as a dj job, half randomly
picking stuff you like, instead of making a compilation

oh, but it wasn't a compilation...there's just plenty od
stuff i must be careful about. now i have to add some more
domestic stuff and more new music among first 17
songs..looks like i'll spend another hour doing that :if it
was entirely up to me, i'd almost never mix old and new
stuff it just turns out boring usually, but could be other
people like that so i can't argue :)

that's a great meat puppets song/album. one of my favorite
albums ever, in fact.

any idea which more recent song would go nice along that
one?
would it be extremly weird if i put something from the new
white stripes album? :)

i wouldn't do that, but i'm not radio dj material. not even
close. so use your best judgement. i can't answer what
else you should put there because i don't listen to much
"new" music. almost all the artists i listen to started
twenty years ago. ;/

i wouldn't do that either..it's a silly policy they've got
there..new and old it just isn't mixable..i mean it sounds
like just songs put together instead of a nice flow.
ofcourse you can find similar stuff, similar beats, similar
melody but it just doesn't fit sound wise imo.
oh well, i just received an email from the editor and he
said i can include another hour of new music from my
collection which is going to make it much easier :)

"almost all the artists i listen to started twenty years
ago. ;/"

you'd be perfect to have your own hour long show on 80's
music..you seem to know all about it ..

right on! all this new fangled electronic nonsense is a load
of rubbish! if it's not the sound of someone scraping his
nails down a blackboard and calling it confield, it's
another bloke taking the piss out of poor defenseless
spazzers.
