That's true, but I'm sure there's nothing they like more
than to wind wind-down after a hectic gig by perusing the
pages of XLT. Probably with a laptop perched on top of a
naked groupie's ass.

I doubt they read this forum. They've made comments about
how they are not interested in that aspect of the whole
thing, although not directly referring to messageboards.

Imagine them not being interested in reading the ravings of
fan bois, frothing at the mouth banging on about them,
schizophrenically spasaming from idolatory to outright
rejection and a sense of treachery hinging on the timbre of
a beat. Maybe they don't have a sense of humour.

I rarely see fanboyism here. I don't consider the enjoyment
to be found in talking about Autechre's music fanboyism; I
do it with other genres and other artists on other
messageboards.

What you see here is nothing compared to the level of
obsession some people have on other forums-particularly jazz
and classical music.
