i tend to enjoy doing complicated and extremely variable harmonic structures - i am scared whomever decides to do bass will be left in the dust and will be unable to create something which will sync up harmonically throughout the song, :-/ if bass is still availlable after someone has chosen to do drums, can i take it over? maybe we can have someone extra do something else instead of bass, like another percussion instrument other than drums/breaks? |

yeah, I guess I'll host all parts for download (even though my line is notorious for fucking up with uploads, so if people got places to host for themselves, that'd be nice (I'll host all finished tracks (at least three-four of them) on my server.. oh, and don't link your part before we've got ALL parts ready) if you don't have any place to host your part, mail it to me at torbjorn [ a t ] olseth [ d å t] org. |

yeah, we'll wait for a while and see... just start doing the melody, and you can probably work on the bass too, but keep them separate if you export. if there's no-one else to bass in a while, we'll use your bass. |

zara: yeah, it looks like it could be done tonight.. even if we don't get anyone to bass, cort will do it. cort: you can make it like you want. the mixer will cut and stuff anyway, but I think the most common thing has been dividing it into several loops. |

ok. my drums turned out really weird. I'm not even sure they are drums. it's some percussive stuff... I think we'll do it like this: first we mail to zara, who will make an "official" version that I'll host on the server (it's not only my server.. my brother uses it too (and he's the one paying.. heheh), so I can't hog all the space...), but we'll try to get some way of making all the parts public after zaras mix is done, and then, if people have hosting space, I can link them from the page. |
