Thanks everyone who has signed! My hands are frozen and typing is a pain, so some brief rationale: How long did it take to make this petition? very little. how long does it take to sign? almost none. Finally, this has some small chance of swaying the issue, and basically no chance of HARMING it, so together you see that it's an easy and decent thing to do. As a side note, I did start getting worried about grant's comment like mrgypsum said, and maybe he was bluffing, but my letter has two clauses, the second requesting a high quality CD release, not some incomplete crap thing. |

I could have done a few things better; I could have organized people to spread it around and agree on the text before making it, and maybe I shouldn't have even been the one to create it (I assume you've seen the 20 most recent signatures). but oh well, let's keep trying, thanks to all who are signing it still! |

well as I've said 100 times at this point, it takes very little energy to do, so at the very least the signers lost ~5 seconds of time, and at the very best we have a great release. Put this way, I think it's pretty clearly not a bad thing to do. |
