IMO, just because its a dark period in history doesn't mean it should be treated as a taboo subject and never spoken about in other than hushed solemn voices. There are countless nazi jokes, impressions etc in films and tv and they don't cause any commotion, but the fact that someone dressed up as a nazi soldier as a joke seems to have hit a nerve this time. |

the media's supposed to be a government watchdog... so i can see how this story would be covered a lot. what's completely unforgivable however, is shit like janet jacksons tits. also, i know ya'll are huge football fans, so check it out: i'm from minneapolis and when randy moss scored a touchdown against the packers in the wild card playoff game, he pretended to moon the crowd. the commentator was like, "a huge discrace! digusting! a very untasteful move by randy moss." then there was the editorials and articles in the papers all the next week. people saying it was a disgusting and vile act...... etc, etc... well, anyways, i don't have much of a point here except that people fight like rats and not like men. let's drag some stupid shit out for a week about randy moss and act like it's more important then a bloody war in iraq. fucking nazis... |
