my bank has a little link on their website where you can
donate online to the red cross tsunami relief effort right
out of your online checking account statement. so i clicked
and gave them $5 (i'm hard up, what can i say.). and i hear
you can donate using your cell phone or something too...

you don't need to to loaded to donate, also in the uk its
rediculously easy to donate any amount. Amazon, telephone...
you can even donate at the post office or bank.
