are you using a download accelerator? try setting it to
download one segment. i am testing the download with
four-segment download, and it is going four times slower
than without the program. that may be the answer.

right after i posted that last bit of info, i realized that
the server has gotten very slow since two days ago. so now
i take it back - try using a download accelerator program
and setting it to like 10 segments.

i have no idea why it is suddenly so slow - this has never
happened before. i'm going to try and get to the bottom of
it.

well if ZOD picked this up, you'd prolly have to take it off
planetarium records, which would make me a sad panda. You
guys I'm sure could do another album equally as good/better
than this one to send off to places.

(this is how snares should sound) ha!

liquidize a diamond just blew me away, u really should have
sent this off, unless u want people to have it for free in
which case good job! free music rules, although less people
will hear it unfortunately :(

the only thing important in my mind besides the procces of
making music is letting people hear it, if that would mean
being forced to sell records i guess that's ok, it's not
like you become the biggest money sucking leetch after
selling a bunch of records within the electronic genre

and im happy to hear that you are enjoying the music =D

I agree here. I would only consider getting signed to reach
a larger audience. Weather it would sell wouldnt really be a
concern. I like to make music for people who like to listen.

My main goal is cleaning this salsa off my keyboard.

i completely agree with both of you, but it's kind of a
naive dream for most people and at the end of the day being
on a label such as zod, planet-mu, rephlex etc doesnt mean
you can give up your day job, my mate j (chevron) still
scrapes by with a job in pizza hut, but when his album comes
out (feb 14th, shameless plug) his fanbase will most
probably double, plus he gigs like a motherfucker too,
sounds like a good life to me, work, write tunes, gig. i'm
gonna make cd-r's of your album and give it to my mates,
help spread it,

more music please

i say do everything you can to sell this, or make something
just as good or better and sell that.

i believe in you guys.

yeah, the fact that it took so long making it probably wasnt
only becouse we worked hard, it was probably also becouse we
played around allot and talked "everyday" things aswell as
music related stuff, making music should be fun!
and it was.

And yeah, im also very happy that people seem to like this,
feels great

damn you bitches, damn you :). i was hoping this would suck
so i wouldn't have to download the whole thing (stupid
download limit) but it doesn't. sounds way too good to skip
it.

well done guys.

i've heard some stuff from you both before and i thought you
two would fit well together.

i used fl3 for the programming, fl4 for creating and
tweaking some sounds (bigger tasks or stuff that could not
be made "in project" without raising the cpu too much)
I also used fl4 too clean up stuff and sometimes mix (worked
with allot of wave files)

wavelab for the basic wave editing, detailed chop ups and
more basic stuff that is not comfortable to do in fl

i used a cheap condenser mic for recording song, moans, vocals
of all sorts and background sounds, everything from "metal
hits" too longer ambient sounds.

and yeah, i also use a midi keyboard/controller for fx
tweaking and other stuff that needed to be done "by hand"

btw, that e-mail is sort of on it's way =) i need to have
some words with virginpusher before the bio can be done and
it's not allways easy to get in toutch with him (internet!)
=D

oh great....it sounds very professional and i liek the way
dynamics work in some tracks.
fl studio..huh...respect for that dude.

everyone can work good and make nice music in whatever
program the person is comfortable with, as long as the
program doesnt have any certain stupid limits.. the only big
fat (minus) - fl have is the playlist 999 limit.. it's a
pain in the ass to make a longer track when working in high
tempos sutch as 600-800 simply becouse you end up running
out of playlist patterns quite fast

sound with the multiband compresion on master out

youre the man!

i have listened to that first snow track around 5 times
since you first spammed it, could come up with any
"constructive" critisism so i did not reply in your thread.

I can say that i enjoy it though (otherwise i would never
play it 5 times) and i think the name goes well with the
feeling of the song
