Well, she's still pregnant, and the baby is due in July. Her
first scan is in early January, and I think that is when we
find out the baby's gender (I was against this, but Fiona
wants to know, so hey, her perogative)

it is interesting to watch this episode of some stranger's
life unfolding on this message board. kinda like watching
reality t.v. or something.

dunno, nevermind!

Yeah, I go by Jay, I like what it sounds like but it makes
me a big target for malicious rhymes and stuff. I can't
win.

Pawl- do you have a preference, girl or dude?

if it's a boy then his first name shall be Richard then his
middle name shall be David and you can add a third name of
James if that takes your fancy.

Congrats!

nice! how are you feeling about all of this now?

I just found out about two days ago that my brother is
having a baby, which comes totally out of the blue.

I'm going to be an uncle and even just that make me
feel weird, I can tell you.

ya! i just became an uncle last march. especially, while
holding the little kid, did i feel strange. i was in NY and
holding this kid and feeling really sad because i knew he
would be growing up on the other side of the country and i
was going to miss it. very strange primal feelings. this
instinctual urge to protect the next generation of my blood
lineage or something.

or something!
