I definitely can't see myself getting into this album, after
1 listen so far. I really thought she could do something
cool with this acapella thing, but it seems very flat/one
dimensional to me. Way too whispery; not full enough. I'm
disappointed with the Patton collaborations. Honestly, I
think I'm just really getting tired of Bjork. She's got a
good voice, but I feel like I've heard it all from her
because she doesn't seem to try anything new with it.

This is one of those albums that I myself really like but
where I can completely see why people wouldn't like it..
it's enjoyable in a strange way for me.

I liked Vespertine, it didn't really blow me away, but I'm
not really a huge Bjork fan in the first place, so maybe
that's why I don't get into this new one at all. She just
gets really old really fast for me.

medulla really is boring sop. you can tell by fan comments
that they have to try hard just to like it.

'it'll grow.'

I definitely think it's her best album in the way as every
one of her albums is best :) I can't stop myself of
listening to it!
But I also can completely see why people wouldn't like it...
maybe some "electronic only" people can't stand acoustic
sounds or choir or maybe some of her fans would like to see
another heavy stringed Joga or Bachelorette or some classic
like Human Behaviur.. Fucj off! this album is better..
"It continues Björk's run of releases that sound nothing
like their predecessors, yet is, as ever, particular to
her." I think The Pleasure Is All Mine is possibly her
strongest song ever.
