yeh.. from the samples on his warp albums, it sound likes top-class atmospoheric moody music. i must get some.PLUS he'slinked to squarepusher by playing the same track in thios film as SP played breezeblock 96 and i have a strange habit of making little musical inroads into folks who are anyway connected to the Pusher

you made a follow up to this post: "well, people who grow up on the street, and become successful (famous) later in their life, are usually that way... " instead of this one (i assume): "i don't belive you."
anyway, i downloaded that autechre track you asked for - is it suppose to sound like they performed it live? or should a get a proper studio one? the quality is really good, but you can here people shouting...

im sorry.
soooo, what was everyones favourite film with vincent gallo?
mine would have to be nenette et boni, although he had a very smal part in this one.
the ones with more of his appearence would be: arizona dream and buffalo 66.

yeah...i loved all films by claire denis...you can imagine how great it was to find out that she likes to work with gallo. he was great in trouble every day as well, although it was one of her weaker films.
as for nenette and boni...it's among my top 10 films. and it has a brilliant soundtrack to it. (tindersticks did it, as for most of her films).
and i love tindersticks since the first time i've herad their music in her films.

cool, i saw it on tv a while ago. i can't say i'm aware of denis' work, maybe i saw a few but without knowing what i was watching late at night as usual.
a recomendation for hobbsy? though i think wickywoo is bringing back "american splendor" tonight.

i'd totally recommend you too see everything be denis. maybe start with her earlier films and then move to new ones, just so you get the proper idea of her work. her latest film "vendredi soir" is very minimalistic, very little conversation...it's awesome though, it just that you might not think so much of it, if you don't know some of her earlier films...i think. and it's always good to read something about the idea in film before you see it...just so it makes more sense.
btw, she assisted jim jarmusch when she started with film bussines, and im not sure, but i think she assisted wenders as well.
