SPOILERS OF MOST RECENT EPISODE I really didn't like this past episode. It was just TOO unbelievable. David wouldn't take it like a bitch from that crazy guy. And when the guy got out to throw the body on the ground, David had the perfect opportunity to drive away and he didn't. Sure the ending was really dramatic and powerful, but I just didn't understand the whole episode and it came totally out of left field. I'm sure this week's show will make up for it, though. Also, I think Ruth and George are gonna get divorced before the end of the season. |

Wait, you can dl the shows long before they air? btw, it's the sound and lighting that defines these hbo shows. Quiet sound, very muted. Dark lighting. Very distintive quality. Something evil altogether..Like satan is the head of hbo. |

CONTINUING THE SPOILERS I just watched that episode. I believed it. David was geniunely scared. there's nothing "taking it like a bitch" about it when someone is pointing a gun to your head AND is quite clearly far removed from sanity. David has never been a hero. I would have NOT believed it had he done a Hollywood-runner. that's exactly NOT real life. yes, it did come out of nowhere, but that's kind of the point of the show. life is completely unpredictable. in fact, in this very episode Nate says something to that effect in the beginning. what was great, is that normally a show would handle a storyline like this by intercutting it with other storylines. as soon as the story got really nasty, they didn't cut away once, just stayed with David. that's almost unseen in tv-drama. talking about unbelievable storylines - the whole Ruth marrying George thing came completely out of the blue at the end of the third series and I still don't believe it. although the actor portraying George is a very good actor, his character doesn't do much for me. a real great shame is Ruth's storylines - they're pretty crap. such a great character played by such a great actress and she hardly gets anything to do. fuck that. |

these are just episodes that aired. people tape them, digitally it would seem - they're pretty great quality. tonight ep. 6 of season 4 will air, so I'll start looking on shareaza in about 2 days. |
