acrid milk, I have all the Hawtin concept 12" which I have recorded to mp3, I once listened to all 3+ hours of it once in one (wasted) sitting, it was brilliant. |

The Thomas Brinkman "reworkings" of concept are worth checking too. Whilst were on the Hawtin subject anyone else hate the vocals on "closer" or is it just me, sounds like dodgy teenage poetry to these ears with some of the worst rhyming couplets I've heard this side of a Lenny Kravitz record. e.g. "I keep trying to disconnect my brain maybe I won't be satisfied until I go insane" talk about how to spoil a great track. |

try recent thomas brinkmann's tour de traum remix album. he took the parts of the labels catalogue. there are fewvocal samples, but the music is awesome.smart funky minimal. this sounds so ugly. |
