heh, the single part of my plan sucks a little, but my
collection of odd socks would be rad! they'd all have names
and be stored in colour order in a shoebox under my bed.
they'd be like family, dammit...

Not in love, never was, never even felt puppy love. I can't
get anything out of it right now, I don't have the time to
sacrifice for a signifigant other. I'm already pressed for
it as it is. I pray I never get married or have children, I
can't stand the way my aunts and uncles have turned out, and
act. So... adjusted.

i'm not sure anymore.

been with gf 2 years... i mean i adore her when i'm around
her, but when we're apart i don't miss her that much. i
don't think i'd be devastated if she broke up with me, which
seems wrong. but i'm pretty sure she never would.

anybody else expriencing/experienced this kind of situation?
monogamy angst, if you will. i'm terrified i haven't
experienced enough relationships to know whether this is
{cheesy}'the one'{/cheesy} or not.

i don't reckon that being able to tell whether someone is
'the one' is about experience. i figure that if you have to
think hard about whether or not you're in love, then you
probably aren't. who knows?

but i am a doubter. i doubt and question everything. how do
i know whether the doubts are justified unless i have
several different long term relationships (not all at once
of course!) to give me a frame of reference? also i think
that people who have had lots of relationships, and learnt
stuff about themselves from each, are generally more
interesting and content people.

is it wrong to be with someone who doesn't have doubts when
you do? who perhaps loves you more than you love them?

yeah, i know what you mean. i can be too logical and
measured about relationships sometimes. i wish i weren't,
but i guess it stops me from getting hurt (doesn't always
work tho').

i think it really depends on where you see your relationship
going. if it's seriously long term, then you might want to
think about whether that's what you want given the doubts.
if i were in your g/f's position, i would want to know how
you felt. can you honestly imagine life without her without
feeling upset or regret? it might be a case of 'you don't
know what you've got 'til it's gone'. bring on the
gorgonzola...
