snares musis has value because it makes people create "i hate vsnores threads: he is like spilling a fresh packet of skittles on the floor and tripping on then then turning deaf etc etc" he's ahead of his time. And his attitude is great - totally hard working and exp\erimenting and if hes not making tracks to cash in or for popularity. |

Come back when you know what you are typing about. There is nothing about snares style that is original, he is just a disenfranchised teen orientated version of drill and bass minus original melody. He doesn't even come cross as that hard working...he just serves up loads of rather weakly constructed traks instead of taking his time and making something really good. Those horse & goat samples aren't particularly impressive...Fast beeps and bloops the occasional heavy panning. the odd vocal or otherwise sample, and a bitcrusher...to my thinking that isn't really innovative. |

both squarepusher and aphex came to snarsey/snoresys last show in england. I like snaresy for his time signatures and silly 'rave' samples abobe everything but if you haven't seen him live, check him. Maybe he's pretending to move a crossfader but it's ravetastic..seriously. |
