What album is "Itsu" off of? I recently got Spokes and I'm
really into them.

itsu is remixed on dial p, but it was never released on any
of their albums, its one of my fav tracks by them, along the
same sound as miami vice which is another great track. it
almost sounds christmasy.

the thing about Spokes that annoyed so many people is that
they did P-Brain on the road and basically the EP was tight
as fuck and a definite progression moving on from not for
threes - then spokes came out and the production is mostly
pretty loose, on the whole its much more backward looking
and its basically just not as good right off the bat as
p-brain - i say this as if were fact - but i think this is
largely why so many people were initially so down spokes tbh
-

the album itself is pretty good - but as a follow up to
p-brain it was a dissappointment

the thing i dont like about spokes is that it is shorter
than other plaid releases, meaning there are at least 15
tracks on each of there lp's, most of the tracks might be
1-3 mins but the various tracks make the album more
enjoyable, so many different sounds and such. But on spokes
this was missing, instead they gave us longer tracks, so the
album rides on the strength of ten tracks, dont get me wrong
i love spokes, it just seems smaller than other lps.

This album has just completely dropped off my radar.
Speaking as a massive Plaid fan, I think it's pretty
terrible. Nothing of real depth there, forgettable
songwriting, bah. As said above though, it was worth buying
just for Dial P which - although it has some duff spots -
the first 30 minutes are phenominal. Ok, I'm never talking
about either album again cause this is like my 500th post on
the subject

For those who love Trainer: would Trainer have sucked if
Spokes had come out before Trainer? Would RPC have sucked if
it had come out after Spokes?

Sure, progression of style means something but if the album
is good i'm satisfied. I didn't like it at first but now I
do.

The only track I hate is Crumax Rins. The rest is rather
good though it could be said that some of the tracks are not
that original.

You know, everytime I listen to this album, I fall in love
all over again. I think it surpasses Double Figure (which is
a DAMN good album).
Props to SPOKES....

I'd buy those lads a drink for making that record!...=)
