numark? well.. i tried a numark in the same set as a
technics. don't know which model it was, thoug. the problam
was that I, even though I don't know ANYTHING about proper
use of turntables yet, noticed how slow it picked up the
speed when i let it go after having scratched or held it to
start it when trying to beatmix.

that put me off numark.

yeah i have some terrible numarks actually, but my friend
has a TT-X and it's insane, the pitchshifter goes up to 50%
either way, it's got this little blue display, and it's so
powerful.

you could probably hit it with a 2 by 4 while it's playing
and it wouldn't skip

i could use a decent dj-mixer, though. been thinking about a
Pioneer DJM-300... but i don't know SHIT about what mixers
are good, so any feedback is appreciated.

i saw your pics, tragedy. i think i see what you meant some
places, but.. not sure.

tragedy download the album "born into trouble as the sparks
fly upward" or if you just want to hear one song then get
"this gentle heart like shot bird's fallen"

they are a godspeed you black emperor side project.
slow/orchestral post-rock. "beautiful"

Drunken Mastah - You made the right choice with technics.
They are Bombproof (except the cables).

I wouldnt recomend the DJM300 if u are thinking about
scratching. It is ok for basic moves but the crossfade curve
isnt steep enough for anything really technical. Go for a
mixer with an adjustable curve so you get the best of both
worlds. Numark DXM-01 is a great mixer to start out with and
can hold its own in a club environment aswell. It even
includes limiters on each chanel making it almost impossible
to distort, and protecting your PA. + its cheaper than the
djm300, so you have some money left for a few twelve's :)

yeah. UGLY FAT CHICK BOUNCING! haha!

as all the other pics go, you seem quite cute.

kado: ok. i'll get a numark, then. but would you recommend i
get the PPD-01 instead? (i don't believe in buying shit at
first and upgrading as i learn) or the dxm-06? or possibly
the matrix-3 (which seems to be on special offer on the site
i'm ordering from...)?
