Haha. Just remembered a funny story. A friend of my father
once had a dog, so ugly that he just called it "Hund"
("Dog"), so that people don't had to ask what the hell it
was.

call it 'and' so it will go crazy when people keep calling
its name all the time.

if its a runt, call it rex.

in spain whe we want to give some food (or anything) to a
dog we say "toma" which means "take this" or "here you
have"

so if you say "toma" any dog will come, cos they are all
used to hear that word, and they know it means something
good for them

so no matter the name of the dog, if you say "toma" he will
go

thats why I encourage you to call him:

"toma"

give it a non-human name, or maybe a mongolian, or
american-indian name, they all sound strange enough to be
non-human

No, human names for dogs are cool; "fetch, bill" "roll over
and play dead, tony". Having a dog with a human name, gives
it a whole new feel. It's more inclusive than calling your
dog Fido or whatever. Those are lame names.

Humans best friend should have a human name, not some silly
cartoon name.

Better yet, name the dog after a famous comedian or
something. Like John Cleese.
