no. a stupid, easily-manipulated pawn. the neo-con
agenda-pushers are the evil ones.

i'm a pacifist so i'm not really gonna take a stand until
bush passes the "wes is not allowed to sit in that chair all
day playing xbox" bill.

For once I agree with Bush...gays are gonna do what they do,
but they shouldn't be allowed to marry...a unity between a
man and a woman, a productive union which, god willing,
creates the next generation of the human race.

marraige is bullshit.. it's failing at an increasing rate
because the whole thing is an unnatural sharade of
suppression.. gays are the only people that WANT to get
married nowadayz .. so why stop them.. marraige doesn't mean
a goddamn thing.. save for the legal and tax-status changes.
that's it.

I agree.

i'm surprised this is still an issue at all. really, who
cares if two men, or two women, marry? apparently close
minded conservatives can't leave other people well enough
alone.

that is total bull shit.

the arguement that homosexuals should not be allowed to
adopt because children need a mother and a father is a
direct insult to the millions of children raised by single
parents. children that often grow up to be well adjusted
and successful adults.

that is a bull shit arguement as well. many heterosexual
couples get married and never have children or, in the case
of my aunt and uncle, are not able to have children. if
marraige is about a union between two individuals with the
intent to procreate, then heterosexuals who cannot or will
not have children should also not be allowed to marry.

indeed, i agree with blatant echo. the sanctity of marraige
will not be sullied by homosexuals. Rather, heterosexuals
have already tarnished the purity of this union with
frivolous marraiges ending in divorce.

if you want to blame somebody for the loss of sanctity of
marraige, blame the gold-digging bitches, blame alcohol,
blame divorce lawyers, blame infidelity. these things were
around long before homosexuals started asking for equal
civil rights.

i can't believe a man who is attracted to a man (or
woman+woman) doesn't have the same rights as everyone else.
This is year 2003. For fucks sake, aren't there larger
issues that need to be tackled? Supressing someone's sexual
desires is so primitive. I fucking hate shit like this.
Why don't they just make having a foot fetish illegal?

maybe you should think about what it really means to be
motherly or fatherly because you just might realize it
doesnt have as much to do with gender as you think.

mimi: id think your wrong, because it does matter, its not
how the kid precieves it , its how its really being done, i
doubt 2 dads are going to split and ones really going to
take the mother side, I highly doubt that.

so what are you saying? that a queer couple is incapable of,
for example, teaching an adopted child to play football
and to sew? How do you define fatherly and motherly
roles and what would be the result of a lack of one or the
other? Don't you think a child raised by a gay couple might
actually have more parental guidence than a child raised by
a single parent? by your logic, single parents should not
be allowed to raise children.
