Mobys Ambient really is a sweet record, but I personally
prefer SAW 89-92

Now, if there had been one more song as retarded as Green
Calx on it, Moby wouldave won by far.

And no one can bash the Moby album until theyve heard it.

I could say the same shit about AFX-"man i bet all of his
albums are the same, some cheap ass preset orchestra strings
with fucked up beats just to sound innovative."

You should check out Bang on A Can's version of Music for
Airports. It is really impressive. All performed using
live orchestral instruments and rather than doing some sort
of reinterpretation it is meticulously done note for note,
which seems appropriate for what it is.

I dont think so, as it has been proven that Americans are
born with sub-human intellgence, thus making them worthless
and without all talent.

The best "tekker ambient" out there is The Orb

The tekker ambient sound isn't really my favorite ambient,
though. Like someone said earlier it ends up sounding like
techno lite or toned down/subdued tech. Some of the ambient
that I like the best are artists like Rapoon, Brian Eno,
select Dead Voices on Air and Zoviet France, Glenn Branca
(integrates classical, experimental and ambient styles in
interesting ways), select Jim O'Rourke, Nurse With Wound,
Coil, Oval, etc.
