nlogax,

Well you could share all my opinions in due course, just
give it a bit of time. ;-)

astrology is an illusion based on perspective. If you tried
to navigate to a constelation, you'd find the stars are not
in such a 2d arrangement. This pseudo science along with
alchemy were stepping stones though.

mm, it is true what you say about the moon.

but what you are supposing is just one thing in an endless
list of things you could suppose is true.

just because a belief is ancient doesn't give it more weight
than anything I can think up now - for example, the bible. I
for one do not believe any of the wonders described therein
actually happened.

Well there's pretty good evidence that a lot of biblical
events were based on folklore and legend from much older
cultures like the Sumerians... And we know there was a
Deluge at one point now (the flood myth), there is physical
evidence, plus the fact that the same myth exists in all
ancient cultures.
The Bible is just a massive compilation of very ancient
folklore which is, more often than not, based on factual
events...
Certainly the whole adam and eve thing is just a teaching -
The david and golieth thing could've been based on fact,
they have found giant human skeletons - There was a tribe of
american indians who were considered giants, remember seeing
a documentary 'bout them - I dunno, there's a lot of
speculation and a lot of imagination in all these things,
but there's also a lot of truth and wisdom you can learn
looking to ancient culture.
I mean, we still can't figure out their engineering feats,
moving 140 ton blocks of granite over 1000km, over
mountains? etc...
One thing I know - A lifetime spent watching TV, using
computers, thinking about work, money, etc... puts you
completely out of touch with reality, cos it's a completely
artificial reality that's been created for us - Early people
were FAR more advanced than us in terms of lifestyle and
state of being and things...
Modern man is just living in a superficial materialistic
fantasy world.

I mean Budhha discovered the secret to peace of mind and
happiness thousands of years ago, and it didn't involve
cars, TV shows or internet forums.
I don't know why we all bother? Oh, to keep rich people rich
and give powerful people power - It certainly doesn't
benefit us as a whole.
You're worth about 100x what you're payed if you're working
for a McDonald's that's turning over £5million/year.
