You guys are all wrong, Michelle Branch is in the process of
saving rock and/or roll. You super dorks.

rock is in dismal shape. At least pop rock replaced pop.
Rock these days is pretty awful. Theres your 5-10 bands
that've been around a while who you can rely on. No decent
new stuff coming through. Im sure it'll change.

Can you 'rock' Crovax? Instead of sitting on the fence
taking the moral high ground, why don't you make a
difference? Everyone is capable, if you don't it's a waste.

Nobody mentioned the new album yet? I think it's alright,
I'll probably hate it inside a week and it sounds exactly
like the first one but oh well thought I'd post my thoughts
y'know wibble wibble

The Strokes, White Stripes, Hives, Yeah Yeah Yeahs = most
boring bands in the history of boring bands.
The Vines = great potential, never lived up to it (their
debut album has a couple of outstanding tracks, and a huge
pile of wank).
The Darkness = Hilarious, but of less musical merit than a
tone deaf dead horse.

The strokes, white stripes, all those new shitty
"indy/rock/pop whatever u wana call it" bands suck. You
notice how 30 of the same bands just popped out of nowhere
at the same time? They tryed starting a new trend, it
failed. They suck.

of course someone with a slipknot avatar would hate all
mellow rock. all those bands EXCEPT radiohead do suck. you
ware way off with radiohead. they were around before
slipknot and are STILL around. yeah, i like slipknot and
ive seen'em live a couple times. they are the shit but they
were nothing but one hit wonders basically.

it's the media who saved rock n' roll.. and it's the media
who killed it in the first place.. it's all up to them..
it's all created by the media

never went away but radio is alot better than it was two
years ago... but alot of the bands suck just like alot of
idm sucks and alot of every genre sucks....

out and buy a brown sweater. I dont care. I like them a lot.
They rock.
E V E R Y O N E knows that the strokes are a bunch of poser
rock clowns ... so what ?

Also, the Strokes didnt save shit. All they did was put ROCK

heineken and smoking cool. Hurray : \

Yeah, CCR embodies rock and/or roll. They did everything
right, at least until Mardi Gras.

Rock and roll is Keith Richard(s). He's effortlessly fucked
up. And rock and roll is also the warts on Lemmy Kilmister's
face.

i only like the yeah yeah yeah's out of the bands you've
mentioned and I think the strokes are crap. The darkness are
just a ripp-off of Queen, though they are listenable they
arent anything new.

IMO there will never be popular bands as good as the beatles
or the velvet underground again as long as major labels have
such a massive influence on the industry.
