to my burner? it just stopped working one day. it wouldn't
detect cd's either. so i just left it alone since november,
but in may the drive drawer started opening and closing on
its own. it's not a virus; apparently the model burner i
have goes crazy after 1 1/2 to 2 years, which is about how
long i've had my computer. i messed with the windows
settings and jammed t-shirts and stuff in the disc holder
enough so that it stopped doing that (after 3 weeks of
annoyance) but now my other disc drive, a fully functional
dvd-rom drive, won't detect either. that one is prolly fine,
but i must've done something so that my 2 cd drives no
longer are detected. i bought a replacement cd-rw drive a
couple months ago, haven't had the time to replace the
old/broken one yet.
