Oops! Seems I may have hit a nerve with my previous post to
promo...

"I was going to ignore your witless postings as of yesterday
(I don't think anyone should dignify your retarded ass with
a response anymore) but you're a bit like a fly on a picnic
trip. So...

Tell me, how does someone as young as you hold such vehement
right-wing veiws? (I know you're pretty young because of the

sheer infantile content of your posts. Hey, maybe that's why
George Bush holds such an appeal over you?). Does daddy have
a large collection of Nazi memorabillia locked away? He must
be a big influence on you, eh? Did Mum beat you within an
inch of your pointless life everytime you showed any overt
sign of compassion or altruistic behaviour? Get a
back-hander for bending down to stroke a puppy on the
street, did you? Did they constantly scream in your ear over
breakfast the virtues of the Neo-Liberal free-market and
super-glued posters of Adam Smith on the walls of your room?

Poor old Tory-boy. It must be really frustrating being
alienated from your peer group. I bet you watch them at play
from your bedroom window, a solatary tear trickling from you
pudgey face, wishing just once that they'd invite you to
join them.

Man, you've endured psychological torture no small child
should be subjected to. But it does go a long way in
explaining your sneering and sniping on this board. They
have turned you into a soul-less, spirit-less wastoid.

So, I'm not angry with your continued assertion that I'm
some kinda nut. S'ok. I understand."

Still, s'pose it's nice to be number 1 in any list. "lol"

it's funny how you can be talking down the most attrocious
racist, biggest corporate pig, most vicious killer, etc. (to
use extreme examples) but if you don't watch every word
choice, you're doing yourself and your cause a disservice
and somehow either leaving your opposition unscathed or
elevated.. learned that from experience

Exactly. People call George Bush a retarded chimpanzee every
day and it doesn't do a damn bit of good.

I saw a purportedly democratic website the other day that
had some manipulated photos of georgie... fine fine...
unfortunately it also had parodies of Condoleezza Rice as
Aunt Jemima. I mean, WTF? Whose side are you on anyway?
Liberal white supremacists?!

lol

whenever i hear or receive george w. bush humor from
supposedly intelligent and forward-thinking liberals i have
to roll my eyes.. it's just totally wrongheaded. you have to
suppress the giggles and attack the beast directly, for
realz. no one's ever won a war with a joke book..

2. You're a selfish prick?

exactly.. he's totally worked them to his advantage, all you
have to do is hear his self-deprecating apologies,
corrections, or banter/small-talk when he speaks to the
media.

attacking his poor speaking skills and low/no
qualificiations was the wrong way to go.. democrats and
other liberals should've invested more time critiquing his
attrocious political record (environment, foreign policy,
apathy toward the middle and lower class, corporate
kickbacks..). now they've let a monster flourish and have
themselves to blame. bush was a political lightweight; it
was a fluke he "won" the first election, but when he wins
the 2nd one it'll be from piss poor opposition (look at the
losers running against bush). we let this happen..

i'm have some left wing feelings - rather more humanist than
part of any perscribed politics and i earn a fair bit,
don't smoke marjuana or have any of the stereotypical slurs
that ceri c venemously and spitefullty remarks -
seems ceri c has a few issues of his own
- i also think people need to get paid for what they do so i
don't belive in visiting soulsek for my music but shops.

it's a pity ceri c has to play on negative and reductive
stereotypes - but that's always how bullys, racists and
fascists in general behave - reducing people to
worthlessness - perhaps he needs to be more self aware
before he becomes a stereotype himself?

ever listened to the radio? borrowed an album from a
friend?

it's a pity anyone plays on stereotypes. if one is truly
correct, justified, or sensible, then the facts, not dogma
or loaded language, are already on their side.

that's not stealing - i pay the licence for the radio and
everytime a record is played on a radio the performer is
awarded money thru the prs -
file sharing is assuming the rights of ownership of a piece
of music in a digital format - in effect stealing that piece
of music -
as for borrowing a record - don't be silly .
if you paid for the music in a shop the artist would make
money from it directly - the artist would get paid for his
work and the production costs, costs ofd distribution and
the money to present the artist to a wider audience would be
fullfilled .

the point was that radio, album borrowing, and p2p are all
ways to listen to an album before deciding to buy it. just
cos some people aren't responsible doesn't mean p2p isn't a
viable and even ethical choice for hearing music.
