that's not stealing - i pay the licence for the radio and everytime a record is played on a radio the performer is awarded money thru the prs - file sharing is assuming the rights of ownership of a piece of music in a digital format - in effect stealing that piece of music - as for borrowing a record - don't be silly . if you paid for the music in a shop the artist would make money from it directly - the artist would get paid for his work and the production costs, costs ofd distribution and the money to present the artist to a wider audience would be fullfilled . |
