Ohhhh...My Life in the Bush of Ghosts... sooooo good! It's like sample-happy about ten years before it became fashionable to be sample-happy. whiteboy-funk as fuck as well (the David Byrne input, I spose). Eno's weird pop albums (ie 'Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy' et al) are erm.... really good weird pop music, too. That software he associated himself with (whatever its name was) was a load of shite though. |

It's not really ambient by the strict definition of the word... there is singing, but it's stuff like samples of gospel choirs. 'The jezebel spirit' for example has samples of a televangelist performing an exorcism... |
