well, there's a cool map thing on there... I need to figure
out where I'm gonna fit this with my other cds now... :)

"A lot of fans seem to think the artwork in the jewel
case is nicer than the ltd. edition, actually...
"

Yeah... i looked at in yesterday in a music-store. The
images in the jewelcase really are nicer than on the
special edition. The images inside that booklet resemble the
frontcover-picture, which is my favourite out of all the
maps in there.

But still... having a gigantic fold-out map is much cooler
than a boring old jewelcase :-p I did put the cd itself in
an empty jewelcase though. Don't want scratches.

"I know what surrounded means now when he said the map
could be morre detailed.
"

:-)
So you agree, huh?
It's almost as if he was in a hurry with the artwork... i
mean... well... such a huge fold-out map. The potential was
huge! It could have been awesome. But the map that they
printed there... it doesn't look like he put alot of work in
there. Not nearly as much work as in the OKC, Kid A &
Amnesiac artwork.

Ahwell... the music is still amazing :-) I cannot get enough
of it! (my discman has problems playing it though... it must
be that damn copyprotection... grrr... damn you evil
pirates!)

!!

i envy you

tegengekomen.

man that has taken a lot of effort! you deserve it

so youve got 2 cubes now?

"man that has taken a lot of effort! you deserve it"

Thanks alot! :-)

"so youve got 2 cubes now?"

Yeah... i've been trying to sell it to a toystore, or trade
it for lots of games... but none of them want it :-( (well i
can understand... it would look weird on their
administration i'm sure :-p).

So i think i'll have it to sell it to someone myself. But
ofcourse i'll never get for it what it cost in the store...
but oh well. It's still a cool prize :-)

after one listen through, There There, and Myxomitosis (sp?)
are my two favorites... just love There There, and even
though it is the one song I heard before hearing the album,
it's just amazing through headphones! Myxomitosis is
awesome... sounds like some cool 80's electro pop style song
or something... great stuff!

all! just on first listen i found it good but no more, now i
find it great : )

the only tracks i like less than the others is Sail To The
Moon, and don't like is I Will... maybe i will like them
more afterwards, like Lucky which i was even skipping on OK
Computer at first... maybe, dunno.

btw, something bad - the album is protected against reading

Yeah but it was alot of fun! :-)

"congratulations dude, and my

Thanks buddy! I appreciate it :-D

"and i'd keep the platinum one if i were you"

You know, i haven't even unwrapped it yet. It's covered in
plastic and all. But now that it looks like no store will be
buying it from me, i might as well have a look at it and
maybe change my mind. I very much doubt it though ;-)
Platinum is too technical. My discman is platinum and it's
ugly as hell :-p (no offense morton (it's a phillips you see
;-)). And you've just got to love the purple!

"and no, sorry, this doesn't mean i wanna buy it from
you)) :P
"

damn! Not even if i throw in a couple of nintendo balloons,
pens, stickers & keychords? :-p They litterally filled the
entire package up with that stuff... pretty cool.

"again, very cool, i always liked your other stuff at
your site too, esp. that book of yours
"

:-)
Thanks again!
It's a shame you don't work for a publishing-company,
otherwise we'd be in business :-p My own childrensbook could
be in stores in 3 months ;-)

"(btw did you go out on the street to yell "hooray for
verkerk!!" this weekend? ;))
"

Lol, yeah suddenly everyone knows alphen aan den rijn :-p
Pretty weird. But i don't care about sports at all. I didn't
watch it on the television, and i certainly didn't go to the
"huldiging"... what a waste of time and money that was.

I'm still hoping nintendo will one day go back to their old
übercool lightgrey/darkgrey with red accents
colour-scheme... (nes & snes)... man that was so beautiful!
But i really do think the purple isn't bad either.
Especially when it's turned on and the orange light is
burning... nice).

what GC games do you have? how are they?

Super Mario Sunshine - fantastic but flawed. The main
game (playing through all the levels & rescuing the
princess) is amazing and has near perfect gameplay. But
finding all the secrets and 120 shines is incredibly
frustrating and often just no fun.

Pikmin - what everyone else says: incredibly fun, but
too short. Just when you feel like it's getting really
good... it's all over. But i still think it's worth it
though. The pikmin themselves are supercute, and being able
to control them is an incredible experience. I still play
the game quite often. Can't wait for the sequel!

Zelda, the wind waker - amazing, astonishing,
perfection... this is probably the best videogame i've ever
played. Never before has hyrule seemed so alive! Simply
walking around any of the islands is an experience in
itself... and then there's the dungeons... :-D

Eternal Darkness - hard to get into. At first i
thought the controls were sloppy, and the story very
confusing. But as i continued, it really managed to suck me
in! As the story unfolds and you begin to understand it...
it really becomes quite a scary experience (play it at night
with the lights off ;-)). The controls are not very
intuitive, but in the end it helps to make the characters
feel like real people, and not almighty superheroes.

And well... those are the only ones i have so far. High on
my wishlist (and already in stores): metroid, ikaruga, skies
of arcadia, starfox adventures, super monkey ball. Any of
those will probably be next.

it's missing attention to details... arrangements are
ordinary.. it's a pop album.

and i don't think it has that "grow on you" thing that kid a

hmmm, well I'm just totally opposite from you... Ok Computer
and Kid A I loved from the first listen... Ok Computer is a
pop album... a great one, and one of the best, but still a
pop album... Kid A isn't quite pop, but I found it quite
easy to enjoy...

Hail to the Thief ain't really hard to get into, but it has
grown on me considerably... first listen I thought it was
nice, but since I've really become hooked... and also, I
personally think these arrangements and melodies are far
from pop... nothing on here sounds normal to me, everything
sounds a little strange, the melodies and arrangements I
mean... now, I love this, but I mean that none of it sounds
like a real pop song to me really...
