"but it is passing through a bunch of different bad
pipes, collecting minerals, which give the water a different
taste than what you're used to at home.
"

Hey that makes sense... i think that's probably it! All
these underground-pipes... who knows what state they're in?

Maybe the water in my house is all rusty and minerally ;-)
And that's actually the taste i like. But i don't think so.
It's just too good for that, the water at work must be the
dirty water. From now on i'm bringing bottles of home-water
to work.

that sounds like a good idea.
your water at home probably doesn't have as much minerals,
because that's what gives it taste..water most likely tastes
better with fewer minerals in it.. but then again, people
always seem to prefer water from their home, even if it
isn't as clean, etc.. i think you just grow to like the
water you're used to the most.

This is fascinating. I never thought water could be so
interesting :-p

I remember as a kid i used to hate the taste of water, all
water. I always drank coca cola and lemonade and stuff. But
eventually i grew too appreciate and love water. It's the
only thing that really helps when you're really thirsty.
Every other drink just seems to make me more thirsty!
Also, i can almost feel the water cleansing my body
when i drink it ;-)

"i think you just grow to like the water you're used to

You're probably right. We're moving in a couple of months
though :-o... i hope the water in our new home is going to
be just as tasty.
Eventually i'll probably grow used to it.

Water with ice in it, is the most refreshing drink in my
opinion for a hot summers day!

Water from my bathroom tap = the best.
Water from any other source = not the best.
It has the strange property of being different depending on
the situation. If I'm just having a drink, it's disgusting.
If I'm REALLY thirsty, it's fucking incredible.
