those clothes hangers with squeezy clamps on can be used as
makeshift nipple clamps, plus you can pull eachother around
by the hook.

i cant believe some of the negative bullshit in this
post.....
when i was a kid i knew there was something different
about me....and we're talking 5 or six here!!!!
as i reached puberty, i realised that s+m was it, before
it was just private feelings(?)
because of negative bullshit (like some of the more
immature comments i've read here), it BECAME a problem,
which took a fuckin long time to get over.
now i'm 30, and i'm comfortable with who i am. i met my
girlfreind/mistress 2 years ago......we have the strngest
relationship ever (not just because of the s+m!!!!). we
regulaly go to fetish nights, and all we see are well
ajusted, very happy people.
go with your feelings, enjoy what you are, and rejoice in
the fact you're not a boring, normal person.

being normal... kaikai :s <-- not bitching btw just thought

Well said. Don't care either way, you always fall into some
sort of sub-culture. Actively seeking to avoid being seen as
part of a scene seems a bit redundant to me. Just look at
nu-metal and goth teenagers... far more regimented than
"normal people" in the way they dress, look and talk.

yeah, but i got scars.....
i'm not bleating about people saying i'm a freak
etc.....just saying that people who do not understand
sometimes (accidently) say things that can be
damaging......puberty is tough enough already!!!!!
s+m in my opinion is not damaging, but repressed feelings
are...

I knew a girl who was really much into s&m. Her father was
an alcoholic, she got raped twice, has had several eating
disorders, and her uncle thought she might like incest.

Don't tell me that it the past memorys or experiences arent
to blame.

And If you are into S&M yourself and think "hey, I have had
no problems at all", your probly lying to yourself. There's
something in people who like bizarre/tabu-sex that makes em
do it, and It IS based on theyre experiences.

So your experience of one person means it's the same for
everyone else with sadomasochistic tendencies? Of course
things that have happened to you in the past influence your
sexuality, but there are as many positive and negative
influences on the BDSM leaning personality as on the more
vanilla.

I reject your assertion that your friend's experiences are
'to blame' for her present sexuality. You seem to be under
the impression that S&M is a problem, some kind of mental
illness. There is no 'blame'.

IMO (and that is only my oppinion - no discussion needed)
all sexual fetishes, abnormal tendencies (I won't discuss
what abnormal means either), wether it's gay or s/m, It's
all mental illness. But it's not absolutely a bad thing.
Look at it this way - people with tendencies that harm other
(pedophiles, rapists etc.) also get turned on by a need they
can't explain. That doesnt mean that sex from theyre point
of view isn't beautiful, but we know that it's disgusting.
We think that s/m, gays and fetish are ok, since it's
something people can share with a partner of same
tendencies.

100 years ago, this need wasn't there.

For me it is a mental illness (and yes, I am ill myself),
but it's not anything anyone ever can change. It's due to
our influences through TV and Internet. I mean, I wouldn't
be turned on by girls with strapons fucking other girls, If
I hadn't seen it somewhere.
Out lifestyles isn't healthy, but it's ok for me that you
think sexual tendencies aren't mentally to blame, but review
your own for a minute, and try to find the roots. I'll bet
that if TV, porn, Internet, what somebody did to you in
third grade etc. isn't reflecting your tendencies, It's
because you buried it away.

and on another note. This girl is not the only one i know
with tendencies that are linked to past experiences.

Why do you seem to think I'm trying to bury my sexual
influences? I'm not in denial about them. So I know why I
like, say, dominant women. I don't see how knowing how that
comes about changes anything.

To say alt.sexual behaviour is mental illness is utter
nonsense and, to be honest, very close to the mindset of
those who think homosexuality is a disease.

no...homesexuality is not a disease, and I do not dislike
gays. I'm just saying that it's a all linked to the world
today - TV, Internet, Violence, you name it.

doesnt matter dude, as long as people are ok with it, I
mean...fuck it

I think your past has a strong influence but most of it is
just the way your brain is.

I mean I was into hentai before I knew it existed coz I'm
just sick and fucked up. I never got raped by an anime
character or anything, it's just how I am.
