i think you should focus more on his art instead of his hair ;-)
"pop art, very bright colours, totally what you wouldn't expect actually"
Can't wait! I think (in a way) Ok Computer, Kid A and Amnesiac have had somewhat similar artwork. (not identical, but you can tell they belong together)... imo it's a good idea to go in a different direction this time around. Damn... i'm equally excited about seeing the artwork and hearing the music :-D My expectations are sky-high for both!!

I'm sorry, I just don't see what you can get from this. Sure you can say it's a commentary on uh the clash of tradition and modern society, and exploitation of non-Western culture as a parallel of capitalist exploitation of physical resources and the way minds as well as lands can become colonized, but that's pretty fucking facile - where's he going with it? What, specifically, is it trying to articulate? Is it trying to "make me think"? Gee whiz.
Actually, hold on a minute, I'm starting to like it. :-)

"I'm sorry, I just don't see what you can get from this."
Well most of all i just like the way it looks. Right away, without thinking about it. I'd gladly have that painting hanging on my wall.
I'm not really sure what he means with it, or what he's trying to get across. The man made alot of strange paintings :-p Some looked like the backcovers of (imaginary?) records. With songtitles and which musician played what parts and all... really cool (i thought anyway). When i saw some slides of his work during an arthistory-class, i immediately ran to the library afterwards to check out some more of his work :-)
Anyway, do you realise it's been almost a month since i wrote that? :-p How come you suddenly brought this back up?
