i don't agrree with rreligion "bashing" but i have a lot of light hearrted opinions on it only because i'm not a beleiverr, and i don't have to be. still i won't insult people who do beleive, although i'm surre people who do won't mind insulting me and my stance. i expect they look down on me. |

hey I know tibbar IRL and he is a great guy. We have had our ups and downs but we have been long time friends and have always managed to work it out. When he and I first met we were both pretty different people in a lot of ways and into some bad scenes. I think I can speak for both of us today in saying that we proudly bear the name christian and believe in it's true power. I don't think that being into this type or music or the culture that is associated with it is necessarily opposed to christianity or vice versa, although there may be elements or factions that are, which has been clearly demonstrated from what has been said in the thread you guys are referring to, although I haven't read any of the posts there yet myself. Anyway shout outs to tibbar. |

One of my favourite people on the board. Top guy. And yes, the "Anti-Christian" thread was a bit gash. A lot of people on the board have made sweeping statements like "all Christians are stupid" or "All christians are hypocrites", etc. -crap argument and it's a cheap shot to blanket all Christians as fitting your stereotype. I dislike the way it's trendy to slam Christianity. Seems rather biggoted to me. I have a hard time biting my tongue when people say things like, "Christians are bigots", hmm yes, mo-fo, you are too it would appear... |
