The big penis growing on my forehead.

responsibles for the misery in the third world, or that he
made 20 milion dollars out of the 1st gulf war... >

I'm sure the $20 million is being put to great use in the
$80 billion dollar war we're fighting now. That's what,
.025%? Give me a break.. Chief responsibility for misery
in the third world? What's your source anyway?

First you said :

>We're all envious that we're not in a country that still
ties niggers to pickups and drags them for a few miles<

And then go on to say :

>EVEN Brazil has a better Education system than your
amazingly fantastic country<

EVEN Brazil? Oh my stars and my garters! Those swarthy
savages are educated?
Seems you're a long way from home friend.

>and that Cuba has a better Health Service than the USA<

Funny, I never hear about people flying to Cuba to get
surgery. In fact, all I ever hear about are people coming
to America to get their medical procedures done. But what
do I know? I read magazines and watch tv which immediately
discredits anything I say.. I'm just an American corporate
drone. A minion in a dark empire whose detestable tendrils
are slowly uncoiling across the face of the earth.
Isn't that just so romantic? I bet you're wondering where
sign up to join the Freedom Faction.. Justice must triumph
after all.
My initial post was said in jest but the knee-jerk reaction
it provoked in you says that you found something more. I
don't have anything against protest and differentiation of
opinion but this is ridiculous. If you really want to make
an impression toss your tie dyes in the trash and start a
bowling league.

Just ridiculous.

I couldn't have said it better myself

basic social services system in the US is non-existant.

you don't have the money, you die.

there is hardly a safety-net.

I'm sorry I meant Bilions....

Expenses for the 1st Gulf war ~40 Bilions of dollars

Profit from the first Gulf war ~60 Bilions of dollars

And I'm sure too that those $20 bilions will be put to good
use so that this war will certainly bring profit to our
president...

I've never heard of it which means you need to go into more
detail for me. How'd we end up plundering $20 billion
dollars?

offline Iroel from Pisa (Italy) on 2003-04-05 18:23 [#00634170]

ok I'll explain:

1st gulf war cost -> 40 bilion $

25% paid by the US -> 10 bilion $

75% Paid by Middle East Countries (esp. Kuwait and saudi
Arabia) -> 30 Bilion $

Where did they get the money?

Oil price before the war -> 15$ a barrel

With the gulf war it raised to, 42$ a barrel -> generating
an EXTRA profit estimated around 60 bilion $ (Money mostly
paid by American and European Citizens)

Where did this Income go?

50% to the oil companies and 50% to the local countries
(kuwait and saudi arabia mostly)

The oil in the middle east is largely taken by the so called
seven sisters (Exxon, Gulf, Texaco, Mobil, Socal, BP and
Shell) 5 of which are property of the american government..

so of the 30 bilion $ going to the companies

~ 9 bilions go to private investors

and

~ 21 bilions go back to the state

the government spent 10 bilion $ in the war and gained 21
bilions $ with a profit of 11 bilion $ mostly coming from
the pockets of Europeans and American Citizens.

(I'm sorry for the previous mistakes)
