FPS with a control pad,

AI characters that "cheat" (IE can see you in total
darkness, actually use your co-ordinates rather than line of
site/sound to deteremine where you are),

Not having scores,

Not saving High score tables,

Generic "commercial" dance soundtracks,

Sequels that are just cash ins,

No more 2d Platformers (apart from on GBA!),

Bits that are trial and error rather than skill,

Illogical puzzles,

Poor storylines,

Too much stuff to unlock, especially in multiplayer,

Ice levels in platform games- they're so generic!!!

I played gyromite (game B) at the weekend on my NES. I don't
have the robot so I have to use pad 2 to control the
pillars.

I didn't find out you could use player 2's pad to do it till
about 3 years after I got the game...

And the "test" screen that does nothing iff you don't have
the robot :)

BTW was the robot perfect at it or did it use to make
mistakes?

Mazes. And nightmare sequences, especially the ones in Max
Payne, good thing they were so easy.

It was a nightmare! I used him about three times before he
got relegated to the cupboard :)

the most annoying thing of all is when a movie comes out in
game form, then the game has a sequel but the movie doesnt,
or it has a differnt sequel years later...games should not
be allowed to continue the story!
