i gotta agree with titsworth on this one. i might not
personally like Eminem, but out of all the other white guys
trying to cash in on the hip-hop/rap popularity in recent
years, he certainly is the best one of them all.

the commersial rap scene sucks bigtime. whats so good about
Eminem? his lyrics is either about how good he is or about
his sad white trash uppbringing. bu hu.. since rap is mostly
about lyrics i prefer to listen to stuff that interest me..

well if you want my complete opinion, i think rap in
general, whether it be "commercial" or "underground" sucks.
sure, there's a few songs here and there i enjoy, such as
Busta Rhymes. but as far as white rappers go, for one there
aren't that many (unless you count ICP... but that's just
novelty retardation at its lowest) and of the few that do
exist, Eminem comes across as the better of them simply
because he's "popular", that was my only reason for saying
that. but also, if you compare him to Vanilla Ice, i'd say
Eminem was better there too.

huh? i'm not sure what you got out of my comment, but the
music i was speaking negatively of has nothing to do with
black/white. i simple can't listen to "fuck you" rap is
all.

on the side, i've always thought eminem was extremely
talented, but i am beyond tired of it. talent is but one
factor that goes into my music appreciation.

No, I said there aren't that many (that you hear of, as in
main-stream, such as Eminem) white rappers.

Vanilla Ice did for one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

str_ph - you're right, I don't get the lyrics, I can
understand little to no spoken French. I just liked the
violins. Were they ever popular in France?
