Tricky went from really good on Maxinquaye to slightly about
the same but different on Nearly God, to about the same but
different still on Pre-Millenium Tension, to as good, but
much more fresh and experimental on Angels With Dirty Faces,
to a few nice acoustic tracks on Juxtapose, to complete
shite in stupid attempts to replicate Maxinquaye cause all
his whiney fans didn't get his middle period stuff... and
he's fallen off big time... please come back tricky...

Prodigy and Orbital are definitely a good selection. I'd add
Drexciya (the Drexciya guise that is) to the list. They
really aren't their former selves.

What about artists who have started off mediocre and got
better. How about Luke Vibert. Wouldn't say he was mediocre
but he has so sparkled from release to release over the
years.

I dont think orbital went to shit

their two last albums one is weak ok, but the other is great
(middle of nowhere)

and the b sides of the last album are also great.

I have to listen to octane yet

Despite that though I think they can claw their way back to
another very good/brilliant album.
