i dont listen to metal music too much nowadays but i used to do it 2-3years ago. i like type-o-negative but i find their last album (is it the last one?) as a copy of great "october rust". although peter green is an metal-icon for me.

yeah... hmmm, I started with beatles and moved to iron maiden but never stopped listening to any of it... metal, classic rock, everything, i still listen to all of it. I mean, "outgrowing" judas priest and sabbath is a completely alien concept to me. I'll be dead before I do that.

Oh, that makes it all seem so basic, keep in mind how rough that is.. Ermm, there's many a thing I left out. When I speak of the beatles it wasn't only them, ermm, Hendrix and Dylan were pretty damn huge to me as well obviously and etc. And when I say radiohead there's a lot of their surrounding influences I got into as well.. Hrmm.. What I need to do now is stream line my collection and sell off some junk from years past, yeah, I need the cash.

funny enough, I always hated RATM and Type O negative. They were both incredibly boring to me... RATM's political posing really appeared laughable, knowing all those Crass - era anarcho bands or Public Enemy for that matter...
And peter steele... My girlfriend really falls for him... I can't stand him... Have you seen his pics in playgirl, steamtank? I mean, yeah, i'll admit this guy has a kind of erotic aura and that reflects well in his music, it's only that this is not my piece of cake. I hate goth things.

I keep listening to everything once and a while except for metal really. Just doesn't give me the same feelings as it did.
Oh, how could I forget blues? That's rather stupid of me.. I got into jazz and then went back and saw how it all progressed through blues.

Lately I can't listen to ANYTHING, it kind of gave me the creeps. I thought I could ONLY listen to electronic music but even aphex and stuff just seemed dead to me. Weird, ever have that?? I took a break of silence and I think I'm starting to regain some of things I get out of music.. But still... its odd..

Steamtank: yeah, and he got the erection on, so it really looked impressive.
Punk: yeah, I sometimes get tired of all the music and have to give it some rest. Not often, tho as these days I haven't enough time to listen to the music... Muddy Waters, man, now we're talking... Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, Howlin Wolf, shit, those were the dudes... I'm kinda embarassed now that I used to invest serious efforts into Clapton's sad attempts at blues. After Cream broke up, he went crap and stayed there...

HELL YEAH! Clapton is a bit naff, I don't see why people praised him as "GOD" of all things.. pfftt.. Hendrix had more natural talent working for him in his pinky dammit! (Hehehe). Defintely after cream, he was creamed. Plus, I don’t know the dude or anything but he sounds like a real asshole you know? Having all those wives and stealing one of George Harrisons. *shrugs*

hehehehehe, yeah, that story about George's wife and that pitiful song "Leyla" is really funny... I don't really care if he's an asshole, (RDJ might be as big an asshole...) it's just that his music became ridiculous and awfuly boring after Cream. But, they did call him god for some reasons. He was fantastic in Bluesbreakers, Yardbirds and Cream. Hendrix had enormous respect for him and one of the reasons he same to the UK was to meet Clapton/ Cream. Lucky guy, he died before having to hear Derek and The Dominoes...

Oh, and one hendrix CD you MUST own if you don't already is.. "JIMI HENDRIX:
NINE TO THE UNIVERSE".
There's no singing here, just his guitar doing it for him. I oddly enough read about it in a Jazz article despite it not really being jazz. I need it along with a lot of other things.

I think you might have to order the nine to the universe cd online, I've never seen it in a shop myself..hrmm..
Oh well, that makes two things I need to get online. Art Ensemble of Chicago: Les Stances A Sophie (A jazz cd with some REAL groove to it) is the other thing I need online..hrmm.. The official Art ensemble's web page doesn't even sell it.
