I'm one of them post-beatles fan if you like. Still respect

(hardly ever to be honest) now adays. Tomorrow Never Knows.

Actually, Im come to the conclusion after hearing a bunch of
dls ... that I don't care for most of them... :/ they sound
too old to me and I was really never a fan of the hippy
phase and that long hair jimmy hendrix guitar type thing (i
don't care for that guy). I do like jude though and
Yesterday. maybe I need to give it more time.

Norweigan Wood....ahhhh yes that song is amazing. "I once
had a girl or should I say she once had me" his voice in
that part is amazing!!

Cre, I totally forgot about it, that's the best song ever
made. I say that about everything though.

Amon, were you dropped on your head often as a child? :-)
You don't like Strawberry Fields Forever or I am the Walrus,
but you like Yesterday? Sacre bleu!!!!

agreed. i am the walrus and a day in the life are the best
songs ever written, (ever!). anyone who doesn't like them is
a fool:)

The Beatles are the greatest band of all time in my book,
followed closely by Floyd

I love all beatles!!!!! Revolution Number Nine is the first
(???) song ever to sound like that! :)
And how's come no one's mentioned the amazing "Only a
Northern Song?"

The Beatles were great!
My favourites are
'You know my name, look up my number'

and all Revolver and White Album.

Oops, and the greatest song ever
is Strawberry Fields. I love the film clip too.

I was once inclined to dislike the Beatles because they're
TOO popular..

loads of people only like their early / Late sound. So I
decided to listen to both and found myself enjoying the
later stuff most, Abbey Road in particular. I have probably
heard their Number 1 hits enough times for one lifetime
though

I agree, I'm not a big fan of their early pop stuff...
there's some brilliant pure pop songs, but a lot of them
just don't measure up.

But Rubber Soul in 1965 was when they really went into
overdrive, they were flawless after that.
