Liz Frasier ,
Isn't she the girl that sings on Teardrop by massive
attack?
Or does she sing for the chemical brothers?
I don't know,....
I heard her sing, but I forgot wich song.....

I've not heard that one, but she did sing on a Massive
Attack album so you're probably right. You'd not mistake the
voice...

She's from the Cocteua Twins and sings on Teardrop. The
female voice you often hear on Chem Bros tracks is probably
Beth Orton.

Yes!
Beth Orton,That's her!
She sings on 'Where do I begin'
I like her singing too;but not as much as Liz Frasier.Liz
frasiers sound is more fragile, like Heather Nova and Allison
Goldfrapp.
I like that.

Check out Beth Orton's albums Trailer Park and Central
Reservation. Some great stuff on their. Its folky but really
contemporary. She did a great track with Ben Watt from EBTG
on her last album called All Stars Seem To Weep; great hip
hop beats. Surprisingly she also guested on Princess
Supertar's last album, though I haven't heard it. Weird
collaboration that one.

Liz Fraser's voice is worth a thousand of your beth
orton/fiona apple/beth gibbons/dido/etc clones.

Not one female vocalist, not even Bjork by a long shot, has
ever come close to the Cocteau Twins' songs for sheer female
vocal perfection.

Ugghh!
Who came up with this lame-o thread?
I hate all voices!
Who can honestly listen to music with some screaming maniac
drowning out all the notes (with some few exceptions of
which I shall now list):

Rosanne Arnold
Tipper Gore
Ronald Reagan/Brian Mulroney
Rob Pilatus
Vanilla Ice
the other guy from Wham!

Dirty Vegas without all that electonic voice-tuner shit!
